A Gold Earring from the Givati Parking Lot

A gold earring was discovered in the ruins of a building that was destroyed in the Byzantine period in the Givati Parking Lot. The earring was inlaid with a large pearl and with pearls and emeralds suspended from it. It may date as early as the end of the Second Temple period.
