The Tomb Monument of Zechariah: the Priest who was Murdered in the Temple

In the picture: The tomb monument of Zechariah is attributed in popular tradition to Zechariah son of Jehoiada, who was murdered by the people in the Temple (2 Chron. 24:21). But in fact, this is a burial monument (nefesh) from the end of the Second Temple period. The pyramid at the top shows Egyptian influences.
